Hangin’ with Elvis | Arnold Arboretum Family Photos

I had such a great time with these guys during my Arnold Arboretum Family Photos Day!

I have to admit, this session just might have spurred a little conversation in my house about whether or not to get a dog.  Trust me, you’d consider it, too, if you spent any time with this family’s dog!

Elvis, an adorable and super smart terrier pup is this family’s first “baby” and he did an awesome job sitting for photos.  It was my first time having a dog part be part of a family session and it was really so fun.

Five month old Carya (CAR-ee-uh, meaning hickory tree, for all you arborists out there ) had the most beautiful blue eyes and the sweetest demeanor.  By the end of our session, she was even content to let me hold her on my hip while I snapped a few shots of mom & dad!
