I can’t think of a better way to say goodbye to a city you love than by having a photo session at one of your favorite places in that city! That’s exactly what this family did just a week before moving from Boston to Philly and I was so happy to be a part it.
This family chose
to have their photo session at Peter’s Hill in the Arnold Arboretum because it’s a place that’s special to them. I was pretty excited to go there because it also happens to be a special spot for me. When I lived in Roslindale, I took daily walks with my newborn son on the trails there ( almost 8 years ago!).
There is something so peaceful and magical about this spot. And the view of the Boston skyline at the top is the icing on the cake! So fun to go back to my old stomping grounds…
We met up super early in the morning ( I love motivated families!), before there were too many people walking around. It was overcast but there was no rain in sight. A perfect morning for photos.
We were so lucky to find a field of buttercups and some flowering trees!! These are some of my favorites from the morning.
15 month old Nieve ( Spanish for snow – named after the snowy day on which she was born!)
