hangin’ with sulley

Sweet little Micah brought along a pal to his recent family photo session: lovable Sulley from the movie Monsters, Inc. He was so excited to show him to me, and pose with him, too.  Sometimes kids just need a friend with them to feel comfortable in front of the camera.  Plus, it’s fun to incorporate pieces of their personality into their pictures.

After two full afternoons of mini-sessions I had a hard time deciding on a just one special moment for this week! one year later

There is no better compliment to a photographer than a returning client.  To know that a family loved their experience with you so much that they want to do it all over again is a wonderful feeling.  Plus, seeing how much children change in just one year is amazing.  I mean, I have kids, I know they change a lot, but it’s so fun to literally not see a child for an entire year and then get to see how much they’ve grown.

Poppa & Grandma

Poppa & Grandma

Lucky me, I got to have another photo session that included a set of grandparents last weekend!  (Here’s the last one, in case you missed it!) The goal of the session was to get some updated shots of the grandkids, individually, together, with their family, etc.  But one of my favorite parts of the whole session was when Poppa turned to Grandma and said, ‘how about some pictures of just us?’  Seriously, how cute is that?
