To all my clients from 2013: thank you.
Thank you choosing me to photograph your family.
Thank you for letting me into your lives for a few hours, to get to you know and capture your moments & memories.
Thank you for your very kind words and referrals. It is the best feeling in the world, when someone tells a friend about their positive experience with me. I work so hard to make every session fun, relaxed and genuine. I’m not kidding when I say (more…)
It’s that time of year again!! Time to pick out my favorite images from the past twelve months!! Since it’s December 13th, it seems appropriate to highlight my favorite 13 images of 2013. Choosing just a few favorites is such a hard task. It really is amazing (and probably hard to understand if you’re not a photographer) how attached I become to my photographs. I spend so much time editing them and can remember so much about each and every one. They’re like my babies. Sort of. It’s hard for me to choose favorites.
It’s officially December (almost officially winter!) and as I sit and gaze out my office window it is dark and dreary outside. I just needed a ray of sunshine to warm me up so I decided to highlight some images from one of my favorite mini-sessions this past fall.
On the October afternoon when I had my mini-sessions, so many trees in the Arnold Arboretum were already completely bare! I was panicking a little bit until I found this one little tree with gorgeous orange and red leaves. It made the perfect backdrop for fall family portraits!
It was about twenty degrees outside during my family session on Sunday.
With the wind chill it felt much colder.
We all questioned even trying outdoor photos. But I am SO glad we decided to just go for it…
Confession: I love this dog way more than I should, considering he’s not my dog. And I’ve only met him a few times.
For starters, his name is Elvis, so he’s automatically cool.
