Wayyyy back in the spring I had a newborn session with a cute little man and his doting his parents in their home in Boston. And I created a very special photo/video fusion for this family that I never shared on the blog. Oh, how I love going back and watching these again and again.
I just love the emotion that comes from seeing the video and stills together and set to music. Stay tuned, photo video fusions will be a new product offering for my clients in 2014! (more…)
It’s finally here! FALL MINI-SESSIONS! I have received so many emails over the last few weeks asking for information… You are all really on the ball this year!! Sheesh…makes me think I need to start my holiday shopping already!
Sessions will take place in either Larz Anderson or the Arnold Arboretum. I’ll be doing some serious leaf peeping in the days leading up to the sessions to pick the best spot!
A few weeks ago I highlighted a moment from a recent family session at beautiful Larz Anderson park in Brookline. As I was thinking more about why I loved this session so much, I realized that although the weather was perfect, the family was so fun and easygoing and the location was sublime, it was the details that made the session so awesome.
A couple of weeks ago I highlighted a very special moment between two grandparents and their brand new granddaughter. And I loved so many other images from this newborn session that I just knew I would need to do a full blog post. I have so many favorites!
So often after a newborn session, I find myself focusing on the solo shots of mom & baby and on images that capture the bond they share. After all, I’ve been a new mom before, and I never get tired of witnessing the very special connection between mothers and their brand new babies.
But at my newborn session this past weekend, the tender moments between father & son simply stole my heart. The photographs of 8 day old Sean with his father ( and namesake! ) have quickly become some of my most favorite images ever. I just love the contrast between the big strong arms of this proud papa and his tiny 7 pound baby boy. I had a hard time choosing only a couple to highlight here!
