Thank you for stopping by. Below you will find highlights and stories from my latest client work. I strive to make all of my sessions relaxing and fun and I pride myself on creating images that are joyful, genuine and beautiful.
I am an on-location portrait photographer living in Needham, Massachusetts. I am a wife and mom of three ( 12, 9, and 3) and I have been photographing families in the Greater Boston area since 2011!
The holiday season brings gifts in all shapes and sizes, but for this special family, they got an amazing gift. Not one, but TWO boys! I was so happy to meet up with their home just outside Boston, MA to capture their newborn session for their twin newborn boys.read more

Do some of the rooms in your house look just like they did when you very first moved in?? (ie they’re blank!)
Have you had “hang some pictures!” on your to-do list forever? I know it can be overwhelming to work on a project like this. That’s why I wanted to write you a step by step tutorial on how I plan wall galleries in my own home. ( spoiler alert: it’s really not as hard as you think!)read more

In January, I launched a new portrait series called “A Mother’s Work” which features female entrepreneurs who are also mothers. The idea for this series quite literally came to me in a dream one night a few years ago and I’m so excited to finally be devoting energy to making this dream a reality in 2019. I have already spoken to so many wonderful inspiring women and look forward to those I will be meeting in the future. The positive feedback I have received about this project has been amazing and I can’t wait to share more!
One thing I did not expect when I started the series, however, wasread more
Back in October, I met up with this special family to capture an extended family photo session at the Arnold Arboretum. When I first talked to Mom, she expressed to me how important this family photography session was to them. The family had had lost both grandfathers within just two weeks of each other the year before. Needless to say; it had been a tough year for everyone. But, it also made them realize how important family time is. And, not only spending time together, but capturing and documenting those moments in photography. So, that’s why she really wanted to include the grandmothers in their family photography session.read more

Little Liam was born back in July and we had originally scheduled this session to take place in the fall, to capture him at three months old. But we ended up postponing the session several times almost all the way to Christmas due to family illness, a rash on Liam’s face, and other hurdles that set us back! I loved how it worked out because with little Liam being older, he was that much more expressive. There’s such an exceptional period of motor skill growth between three and five months. Babies start having the cutest expressions and making the cutest noises, and you start to see more smiles, more laughs, and more personality. Liam was right on the edge of learning to roll over, too!read more
“A Mother’s Work” is a blog series challenging the traditional concept that women can’t prioritize both their careers and their children. Featuring female entrepreneurs who are also mothers, “A Mother’s Work” showcases women who are passionate about running their business while also raising a family, each with interesting and inspirational stories to tell about their continuing journeys through career and motherhood, and their own challenges and victories in the age-old quest to balance work and family.read more
And just like that another year has come to a close and it’s time for my very favorite post: the “BEST OF” post!! I get to look back on all the wonderful memories I witnessed in the last 12 months and select my absolute favorite images of the year. This is never an easy task, but at least it’s getting easier as I get to include one additional image with each passing year! ( This year is the top 18 of 2018 )read more
It was an unseasonably warm afternoon in October when I met up with this family in Hull, MA for their family portrait session. Mom and I were both worried it would be too cold for a beach session, but the weather turned out to be amazing. The sky and sunset were exquisite. We all felt so lucky to have such perfect weather for their beach session in Boston.read more
There’s something so beautiful about fall in New England, even when it’s rainy and dreary. It was such a delight to meet up with sweet little Saachi and her family at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, Massachusetts for a family photo session filled with fall foliage, despite a rainy start.read more
Meet baby Lily! Just a few short weeks ago, I met up with this lovely family at their home in Wayland, Massachusetts to welcome their newest edition. Lily was just 13 days old at the time of her newborn session, and what a beautiful little baby she is!read more
Welcome to the world, Baby Vivian! I was thrilled to photograph this little girl in Back Bay, Boston, just 7 days after she was born.
I already knew this family after having done a newborn session and then one-year session for big brother Miles, so when I heard that they were expecting again, I couldn’t have been more thrilled! I love when families get to experience a boy and a girl (I have two boys and a girl myself) because it’s so interesting seeing the difference between raising boys and girls.
It was so much fun to see how much Miles has grown. This is one of the reasons I love having return clients: I get to see so much more than just those baby milestones. I get to see these kids turning into their own little people! And watching Miles taking on the role of big brother was too fun. One of my favorite images of the whole day was when he read his “big brother” book while Mom was looking on and smiling.read more
This summer, I met up with a Needham family for a session that was especially near and dear to my heart.
I have known this family of five for a long time now. Their oldest daughter has been good friends with my own daughter since they were in Kindergarten! When I heard the news that they would be relocating to the Washington, D.C. area, I knew it would be hard to say goodbye. It’s so hard to see friends leave, especially since they’ve built up such an amazing network of friends here in town.read more
I first met this family back in 2012 — I was photographing an event at Solutions at Work in Cambridge (a nonprofit that offers homeless and low-income families children’s items and professional clothing for new jobs to meet their needs as they achieve self-sufficiency), and this family was there participating at the event. I noticed Lani, the older girl, right away because she was so stunning—I simply had to ask her parents if I could take pictures of this beautiful girl! Six years later, Lani has turned into a gorgeous young lady, and I had the pleasure of meeting her little sister, Lorelai, who wasn’t born yet when I first met her family.read more
I have been working with this family for the last 3 years, ever since their second daughter, Isabelle, was born! Since that time, I’ve been thrilled to watch this family grow as both of their little girls develop their own personalities and have adventures together. I look forward to their family session every year because I know it’s always going to be a treat! Mom and Dad are both professors and such interesting people, so I always enjoy talking with them—and all four of them are some of the sweetest, most laid-back people to work with, too! I always design a coffee table album for Mom every year, and I know she has a growing collection on her shelf from our sessions together.read more
This wonderful family of six lives in my town, and although I had never met them in person before our session, we have a number of mutual friends. After spending time with this family, it struck me how comfortable I felt with them, and how down to earth they are — I can see why we have friends in common! Their oldest daughter, Claire, was about to get braces, so Mom wanted to have some photos taken before that big event! And, of course, she wanted to capture the rest of the family, too, at this time in their lives!read more
As a Boston baby photographer, I am blessed with meeting so many parents and hearing so many stories. Libby & Jeff are two of the strongest people I have ever met. Sessions like this one change your outlook on life because you see two people who have been through so much and continue to be amazingly positive and happy. Libby told me, before I met them during their Back Bay newborn session, that their baby was being delivered via surrogate. I did not know their backstory at the time, and did not realize that both of their babies were delivered via surrogate.
Soon after I arrived at their session, Libby told me she had also just been throughread more
