I love that this session was just mom and the girls. I love how much the big girls are in love their baby sister. I love how much personality baby sister has, at just one year old!
But most of all, I love that Dad didn’t know anything about these photos — an awesome and super thoughtful surprise by mom! (more…)
I met up with this family on a gorgeous fall day for a family session at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, MA. I love all the variety we were able to capture. And it doesn’t hurt that their son is absolutely adorable!! I love all his facial expressions….
Hanging out with daddy is so much fun…
Just mama and her boy…
Remy was almost a year old and getting ready to walk. I’m sure by now he is running in circles around his parents and I can’t wait to see him again soon!!
Thank you for choosing me to be your family’s photographer. I love capturing these memories for you!

Sweet little Micah brought along a pal to his recent family photo session: lovable Sulley from the movie Monsters, Inc. He was so excited to show him to me, and pose with him, too. Sometimes kids just need a friend with them to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Plus, it’s fun to incorporate pieces of their personality into their pictures.
A few weeks ago I highlighted a moment from a recent family session at beautiful Larz Anderson park in Brookline. As I was thinking more about why I loved this session so much, I realized that although the weather was perfect, the family was so fun and easygoing and the location was sublime, it was the details that made the session so awesome.
This past Sunday, I had a family session at Larz Anderson in Brookline, which is one of my absolute favorite places to shoot! The lines of the stone benches are so fun to work with and the gorgeous greenery makes for one heck of a beautiful backdrop. I thought for sure my Monday Moment this week would somehow be incorporating all the wonderful details of the location. Little did I know, one of my favorite moments would occur halfway down the hill laying in the grass!
