This family is the simply the best. Everything about them makes me feel welcome and comfortable and happy. Like I could stay and hang out at their home for days… ( don’t worry guys, I promise I won’t ! )
I’ve photographed this family twice before and we’ve always had pretty decent weather and we’ve been outdoors. This time it was officially super-freezing-cold-winter-weather and we planned to create family portraits in their NEW home!
I love images of families just doing what they normally do. Every day stuff like reading books. This is how your life looks right now. And I love it.
Daddy’s little girl….
The best part about returning clients is watching the little ones growing up. Little Carya is definitely not a baby anymore! She is turning into such a beautiful girl with an amazing spirit.
You might not be able to tell, but that big fat tail hanging down from Carya’s waist is part of her raccoon costume from Halloween. Cutest little raccoon I ever did see….
And Elvis the dog? Well, I can’t say he’s changed that much. But he does get more lovable every time I see him. And he always wants to be the center of attention….
Welcome home, guys!!
In the end, we did jump outside for a few minutes and captured a totally awesome and unique family portrait. It’s here, in case you missed it.
Moving into a new house is a big deal! And it’s a really wonderful time to have family portraits taken. Contact me for more info about having an at home family photograph session!!
