You know those people you hear about sometimes on the news that have babies on the highway, or in their cars? Well, that’s Dan & Lauren. Their son was in such a hurry to spend the Christmas holiday with his parents that they couldn’t quite make it inside the hospital for his delivery. Owen was born on Christmas Day in his parents’ car in the hospital parking lot!! What an unbelievable story and an amazing Christmas gift!
But if anyone could handle a stressful situation like this with grace, it’s Dan & Lauren. When I walked into their Roslindale home for their newborn session I couldn’t believe how calm everybody was. I definitely do not remember having my act together like this, just weeks after my second baby was born! They were both so happy and easygoing. I felt so comfortable with them, like I had met them before somehow?
This newborn session was one of my favorites to date. I posted a few images from this session a while back that highlighted Dad, but I had SO many other favorites of the rest of the family, that I wanted to do a follow up blog post.

Two year old Ellie was really into farm animals, and she wanted to share this love with her little brother… Sharing is not easy for two year olds!! I think it is a really good sign that she’s offering up her sheep!
