At home with Lila | Jamaica Plain Childrens Photographer

by | Jan 26, 2016 | children, family, latest sessions

The last time I saw Lila, she was two months old…just a tiny baby in her proud parents’ arms.  Her Mom & Dad had just become parents for the first time, and they were so head over heels in love with their new baby girl.    I was so excited to see them all again because I love to see how much my clients grow and change.  Lila is such a big girl now, still with the most beautiful blue eyes!!  And her parents are old pros at this parenting thing, perfectly comfortable in their roles and embracing all the ups and downs of parenting with ease.

Lila loves to be outdoors so we started this session with a walk down her street with her favorite doggie pull toy.  Full disclosure, Lila was a little wary about having me tag along– after all, it’s not every day you’ve got the paparazzi following you down the road!  But I kept a safe distance until she warmed up.  I actually love how the shots from across the street turned out.  Helloooo over there, Lila!!

I often hear from people that they are worried their child won’t cooperate at a photo session.  And 18 months old can be a trying time to get your child to do anything you want them to do!  But it’s OK if your child is feeling shy.  We’ll take it slow and I will follow his or her lead.  I’m there to capture your child as he/she is right now in a beautiful and artistic way.    Especially if that means taking your wooden dog for a walk, jumping in the crib, reading books on the bed and doing puzzles in the play room.  Get in touch to find out more about having a lifestyle photo session at your home!!
