It was a hot and sunny evening in June when I met up with this family of four at the Arnold Arboretum in Roslindale. The last time I saw them was a full year ago at their home, just after second baby was born. It was so much fun to see them again and to see how much their girls have grown!
I’ll just sum it up by saying: sessions like this make me giddy. These images are what happens when a family just lets go as if I’m not there. I truly felt I could photograph their connection in a genuine way because they were so relaxed in front of the camera. I know it’s not always easy to act naturally during a photo session, but this family nailed it. And, of all the amazing Massachusetts family photographers out there, I’m feeling so grateful they trusted me once again to capture their love!
One of Lila’s favorite activities is playing hide and seek. The 3 year old version contains a mild amount of confusion about who’s hiding and who’s seeking at any given time…but it’s adorable nonetheless
weeee!!! Oh, to be a kid again…. Lila, tell me how you really feel about having your picture taken!!! Beautiful light, beautiful mama. I am in love with this moment.
