Where are you located?
I am located in Needham, MA but consider myself a Greater Boston Family Photographer. I frequently travel to areas in and around the city for sessions.
How can I get in touch with you?

What type of photography do you offer?
I am newborn and family photographer. I also am the photographer for a number of Boston area schools! (Please inquire if you would like to learn more about having my services at your Child’s school!) I am not currently shooting weddings.
What kind of photographer are you?
I like to describe my photographs as colorful, emotional, and natural. I do not use a lot of props and prefer to capture you as you really are, whether we are playing in your backyard at your home, going for a walk on the beach, or hanging out at your favorite park. My goal is to capture the love and connection in your family. When surveyed, my clients have described my work as: real, timeless, natural, colorful, spirited, emotional, joyful, beautiful and unique.
How far in advance do I need to book a family/child session?
I accept a limited number of sessions each month so that I can provide excellent service to each of my clients. Most people book at least 2 weeks in advance. During the busy season ( September-November) sessions should be booked 4-6 weeks in advance.
When should I schedule my newborn session?
Call me as soon as you know you would like to book a session. I will schedule a tentative date on my calendar based on your due date, and will allow for flexibility in timing based on when your baby actually arrives. We can plan to have your newborn session within the first week if you feel ready, or wait until your baby is a couple of weeks old, if you prefer! There is no ‘perfect time’ to have a newborn session!
Where will my session take place?
With the exception of newborns, all sessions take place at a mutually agreed upon outdoor location. I have lots of favorites areas ready to suggest but please let me know if you have a special spot in mind. I also enjoy shooting in and around client homes. Newborn sessions always take place in the client’s home.
What time of day do sessions take place?
Although it is wonderful to schedule sessions about 1-2 hours prior to sunset or 1-2 hours after sunrise, when the light is soft & beautiful, the very best time to schedule a session is when your children are at their happiest! It doesn’t matter how beautiful the light is, if you kids are tired and cranky! We can discuss your kids’ nap schedules and figure out what makes the most sense for your family when you book your session.
How long does a session last?
Family sessions usually last about a 45 minutes to an hour — kids tend to run out of attention after that time. However, there is no fixed time limit on your session. I will shoot until I feel I have captured the essence of your family. Newborn sessions take about 1.5-2 hours allowing for breaks so babies can be soothed, fed and changed.
Do you help in planning the session?
When you book your session with me, you will fill out a session registration form that asks a variety of questions so I can best understand what you want to get out of our time together. We can also set up a time to chat on the phone, so we can discuss clothing options and we can select a location you feel is best for the personality and mood of your family.
What is included in my session fee?
The session fee is $350. This includes pre session consultations via phone and/or email to plan and prepare for your appointment. The fee includes my time shooting on our session date, the post processing of all session images. Once your final proof set is complete, you will receive a link to a personal online portrait gallery for viewing 40+ images edited in color and black & white.
How long do I have to order once our portrait gallery is live?
Client galleries are active for one week. I will notify you when your images are ready to ensure you are ready for your ordering window to begin.
What does your average client typically spend?
I do not require a minimum product purchase, I want you to buy only what you love! That said, most clients typically spend anywhere from $500-$2000 after their session (not including the session fee). Please email me for a detailed list of products and pricing.

What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept session fees via Paypal, Venmo ( @Cara-Soulia), credit card over the phone, or check in the mail, whichever is easiest for you.
