Introducing Baby Quinn! On a gorgeous fall day in Boston, I got to meet this precious little one. Mom got in touch with me to schedule this newborn session for their two week old baby girl. Quinn was their first baby, and Dad was soon going to be deployed to Afghanistan. Mom wanted to be sure to get some beautiful family photos before he left.

When I met them, they were so sweet together and clearly so in love with each other and with their baby girl. I will be honest, it was hard to see them so happy together at such an amazing and exciting time, while in the back of my mind knowing that they must be feeling sad knowing they would have to say goodbye soon.
Military Family Photography Session
It can’t be easy to be apart for so long, but this was exactly why mom wanted to be sure to have a newborn session to preserve this happiness for years to come! I especially love the images of Dad snuggling with his daughter by the window. Such precious moments!
Mom is in the Air Force and Dad is in the Army. So, we were sure to include a photo of Quinn with both pillows behind her! She’s a military girl 🙂
It was a gorgeous fall day for our newborn session, and we were able to step outside for a few minutes at the end. We made sure to capture a family photo on the steps so they could always remember where they lived when they had their first baby.
Mom had a coffee table album made of her favorite images. A coffee table album is a popular way to use the images from a newborn session. I take care of all the work to custom design the album and all the client has to do is choose a cover! I know that life is busy with a new baby and it makes a lot of sense to do it!
Thank you so much to this beautiful family. Mom and Dad, thank you for giving me the honor to photograph your beautiful little daughter. I know that the pictures from this family session will make Quinn smile when she is older. She’ll be able to see just how loved she has been since she was born.
