A mutual friend introduced me to this fantastic couple who just became parents for the first time. They brought their new baby boy home to their condo in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay. I was so excited to shoot in this beautiful location, but also just loved hanging out and getting to know them. They could not be a sweeter couple and are so in love with their new son, Miles.
Miles happens to have one of the coolest nurseries I’ve ever seen. Complete with photographs of real wild animals above his crib. Photographs taken by his parents on a trip to Africa! 
I don’t typically photograph newborns with lots of props but I couldn’t help myself when I saw this sweet duck, hand knit by Miles’ grandmother. Awwww….
I’m a knitter and can completely appreciate the work that went into this little guy.
There is nothing like the look of love new parents give their babies. It is one of my favorite things to photograph because it always happens so naturally, especially with first time parents.
As a photographer, these are the locations you dream about. What an amazing wall of windows! I love the character of the old buildings in Boston.
