Meet Charlotte and Jack. You’d never know it by looking at them now, but they weighed just over 2 pounds when they were born at 27 weeks. After a very long and emotional couple of months, they are both finally home with their Mom & Dad, and are tipping the scales at over 12 pounds each!

Becoming a parent for the first time is hard enough when there is just one baby and everything goes smoothly. This amazing couple has bravely navigated the world of newborn twins while contending with the many health challenges faced by such premature babies.
I can only imagine some of the difficult days and nights they have seen on this journey, but watching how well this couple parents together–working in a rhythm of feeding, rocking, snuggling, changing, each always with their hands full–I could tell they were stronger for the bumps in their road. They seemed so natural–both of them so warm , loving and calm. Charlotte and Jack are lucky to have them .

They’ve got an older sibling who is pretty smitten, too….
Since this session took place right before the holidays, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to include the Christmas tree in some of the images. After all, these precious babies are nothing short of a Christmas miracle!
It seemed like these two took every chance they got to kiss the tops of their little babies’ heads. And can you blame them?
