What is boutique school photography?

Boutique school photography is an alternative to traditional school photos.  It provides the option for more custom, candid school portraits of your children.  I pride myself on not only capturing technically sound photographs, but also accentuating each child’s individual personality.  I thrive on authenticity and natural expressions.  I believe this is a service parents crave as a way of preserving these very fleeting school years.  I have lots of experience working with children and am very good at getting kids to relax and be natural in front of the camera.

I know these photos are a value added for parents and schools alike.  I shoot all portraits myself and have an online digital system to take care of all orders and payments.  My presence is a minimal interruption to classroom schedules and I provide a unique product to families through my innovative portrait system.

How much does this cost?

There is no fee to have me come to your school.

How do parents make payments for their prints/products?

My entire system is hosted online.  Proofs are released for viewing through an online link and all orders and payments are processed online.  The school does not have to worry about printed proofs, order forms, or handling money.  My online system takes care of everything.

How long does this process take?

The shoot itself will take only 1-2 days depending on the size of the student body.  After the shoot, the proofs will be released digitally to the parents within 3-6 weeks, depending on the number of students.  The order deadline will be one week from the date of proof release.  Products will arrive 2-4 weeks after orders are placed.  I will personally deliver all of the products to the school.

Are you insured?

Yes!  My equipment is fully insured and I have liability insurance.  A copy of my insurance policy is available upon request.
