It was a picture perfect summer evening when I met up with this family of four at the one of my very favorite locations in Boston — the Arnold Arboretum. I can always count on something blooming there and lucky for us, this family of four also happened to be wearing clothes that coordinated with the flowers! Have you ever seen a more beautiful foursome?! I had such a hard time narrowing favorites to share from this session!
Mom told me before the session how much her older son loves his baby brother and she wasn’t kidding. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen such a sweet and sensitive little boy with his brother. It was enough to melt anyone’s heart to watch these two together. What a special bond they have already. I can just imagine the fun and adventure they will have as they grow up together.
We did quite a long loop at the Arboretum that evening and it was worth every step. From the stunning orange blossoms, through the massive trees ( my favorite part – I love the drama) up through the buttercups and ending finally at the top of the hill. It was the kind of night that makes my photographer heart go pitter-pat!
I always tell families to try to pretend I’m not there. I know that’s not always easy, but this family pretty much nailed it!
I love a good ending…. last frame of the day!!
