I don’t know what it’s like in your house, but when I tell my kids they are going to visit their cousins, an onslaught of squealing, shrieking and crazy bouncing off the walls immediately ensues. I suspect something similar happens for the family in the images below. These cousins were all together for Easter weekend and one of the moms invited me to her home in Newton to document the occasion. What a great idea to capture some images of these adorable kiddos (and their beautiful moms!) during their special time together. What an amazing stroke of luck that all four of these beautiful humans stopped moving long enough for me to create this image. I love it so much and can’t decide if I like it better in color or black & white! What do you think? Everyone together, along with the nerf guns. No sense removing those from the pictures.. this is real life!Best family portrait ever… ?!!
One of the kids had the brilliant idea that each child should pose with their lovey and I could not have planned it better myself. How precious are these fleeting times when your children still sleep with their favorite stuffed animals? You can see one of the lovies in these images is nothing more than a tattered cloth, after a decade of being loved…. This one pulls at my heart strings because I also have a 10 year old son who is my oldest, and I often nuzzle his neck like this only wishing I could freeze time because he is growing up way too fast. One minute snuggling mom, the next, showing off his whittling skills.
Mama’s girl… One of my favorite portraits ever. Can’t wait to get a t-shirt like this for my own daughter! And that hair!! 🙂
Sun-soaked images of this mom & daughter together.. no shortage of love and laughs here…
And of course, I just had to capture a few portraits of these sisters together. What a pleasure it was to meet and photograph your beautiful family!!
