Is there anything better than heading into the holiday season with your first Boston Winter Newborn?
As a December baby myself, I always have a soft spot for babies born during the colder months. The snuggle months. The nesting months. Whether you like the cold or not, it’s hard to deny the excitement that comes with the first snow and glow of the holiday season in Boston.
Boston Winter Newborn
Oscar has arrived!
And like so many of my clients, his parents had chosen my Belly to Birth Package, so I’ve had the pleasure of awaiting his arrival for many months.
And, as expected, he is gorgeous.
Oscar’s parents connected with me in the summer to chat about a maternity photo session. They were filled with joy and anticipation for his arrival, of course. Could we capture their love so we remember life before they became a family of three?
Absolutely.
What makes a maternity photo session so memorable? Here are some tips.
We meet somewhere lovely (in this case it was Old North Bridge in Concord, MA) and spend about an hour together for the session. Then, perhaps you’re off to dinner…most future parents know they need to get their private time in now before the baby arrives!
Less than six months later, Oscar is home.
Newborn sessions are so simple. I pinch myself every single time I arrive on a doorstep to photograph a new baby and a growing family. Life is truly beautiful.
Here is wishing many years of joy, love and smiles like these. What else truly matters? Happy Holidays to all.
